Kilian comes to the rescue for a major manufacturer of movable glass and wall partitions for home and business.
The manufacturer contacted Kilian and asked the talented Kilian team to come up with a solution to their problem. The issue was the current moving mechanism was a solid unit creating excessive heavy friction when opening and closing the movable walls.
Working together with the customer, including visits to the customer’s plant, the Kilian team was able to experience first hand the challenge that needed to be resolved. Kilian designed a unique stainless steel custom solution. It was prototyped and submitted in just a few weeks time.
The development stages were analyzed and further improvements were made. A final prototype was submitted and highly approved for production.
