Kilian Custom Bearing Assemblies for Ambulance Stretchers

A leading medical gurney manufacturer needed a reliable bearing solution for use on the folding legs of their automatic loading ambulance stretchers. The stretcher legs can be automatically folded under it when loaded into an ambulance. The lightweight units feature aluminum frames with weight capacities up to 350 lbs. (159 kg).

To meet the application requirements, Kilian engineers developed a custom double-row sealed bearing assembly. The bearings are designed to withstand the jarring impacts of repeated loading and unloading. All units are zinc nickel plated for exceptional corrosion resistance in all types of weather conditions.
